Dr. Hulme, one of the country’s leading experts on strengths-oriented higher education, has been involved in the strengths movement from its inception. As Vice President for Student Life at Baylor University, she created the first strengths-oriented all campus initiative at a major university. Through a division-wide program designed to enable students to discover a sense of calling, each first-year Baylor student is provided The Gallup Organization’s Clifton StrengthsFinder. As Executive Director of the Noel Strengths Academy at Azusa Pacific University, Hulme has consulted with colleges and universities across the country. Her clients have ranged from large public institutions (e.g., Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas) to small private institutions (e.g,. Warner Pacific College, Portland, Oregon) to community colleges (e.g., Harper College, Chicago, Illinois). Dr. Hulme leads the training and consulting division within The Commons Group. Each consultant is personally chosen and trained by her to ensure a quality experience for every campus.

Toby Tull has a rich background in the utilization of a strengths perspective in advising and mentoring college students. His ability to design strategic learning environments through the use of technology coupled with his desire to see students thrive has placed him at the forefront of translating a strengths perspective into a generationally relevant delivery system.
