Bike Tech Loans Program

Recreational Sports’ Bike Tech, in partnership with the university’s credit union and student government association, developed an interest free loan program for students where they can borrow money to purchase a bike from a Lubbock vendor to use. Over 100 students have taken advantage of this program since it began in 2008.

5 SIMPLE STEPS TO FINANCE YOUR BIKE THROUGH TTU CREDIT UNION

1. Become a member with TTFCU?
2. Apply for the loan from TTFCU
3. Pick out your bike from one of the participating merchants
4. Sign loan documents and pick up check
5. Register your bike FREE with the TTU Police Department

Loans are available up to $500 and are interest free for 12 months.
